My name is Luke Small and firstly I am a Daddy to two incredible little humans, a husband to a beautiful lady and the gaffer to a small, fluffy, white dog. After family, my one true passion is photography. I have been shooting wedding photography for over 10 years now and I still absolutely love what I do! I find it a huge honour to be trusted in capturing one of the biggest days of a couple’s life… okay, I also love busting some shapes on the dance floor on the evening and joining in with the tears and laughter during the speeches… I’m a very emotional man you see! Photography has been a part of my life since my time studying at college, I learnt the art of shooting and processing film… I think this is when I truly fell in love with photography. I then went on to gain a BA Hons Degree in Photography from Birmingham City University.
Okay, thats enough of the boring stuff… if you want to know the real me then you will need to know the following things… I have an extremely unhealthy obsession with crisps, I have been known to devour up to 8 packets of the tasty little fellas a day. I love football, both the English and the American kind, Aston Villa and The Raiders are my teams of choice… I must like misery in my life, right? I am essentially a shameless hipster and I will buy anything with a stag’s head or a moustache on it. I make a lot of ridiculous jokes all day long and much to peoples annoyance I also persist on laughing at my own jokes. My favourite place on planet earth is IKEA, if you don’t agree with me then, I’m sorry, but there is something wrong with you! I used to hate coffee but since becoming a parent I now possess a mild coffee addiction. I am also one of those pretentious guys that indulges in an I.P.A… and yes, I do try to pretend I know everything about the little hoppy tins of joy. I love Cornwall and we would happily live there forever if it wasn’t so far away from all of our family and friends in the Midlands. The two people that have inspired me the most in my life are the fictional characters of Alan Partridge and David Brent… I suppose that says a lot about me as a person.

My Approach
My approach and style is simple… all I wish to create is a pure, real, honest story of your wedding day and in the process, get some awesome photos for you guys . My relaxed approach will capture the raw emotions of the day, resulting in a true and captivating collection of images. I try to make the day fun and light hearted too, in truth I really struggle to be serious at the best of times, and who wants to be serious on their wedding day right?!? So lets have some fun! I love my job and I love working with like minded couples. So if you are looking for modern, creative and super cool wedding photos you have come to the right place!
My Style
I would describe my style as creative, edgy, cinematic, honest and exciting. However, I am a big believe that booking your wedding photographer is not just about the quality of the photos, yes that is obviously a massive part if it, but I also pride myself on my unparalleled level of customer service. My personality is something a lot of my previous couples have touched upon in my TESTIMONIALS. My ability to seamlessly integrate with family and guests on the day is something that really does set me apart. Your wedding photographer is with you for the majority of the day... it really does help if you guys enjoy their company too. If you feel comfortable it will show through on your wedding photos.
